In Loving Memory of Ai-Phuong Diane Truong, NSTA Vice President, Advocate and Friend

26 Apr

Dear Friends of the NSTA

It is with a heavy heart; I inform you that NSTA Vice President and dear friend Diane Truong passed away on April 21st, 2022, in the company of her family and loved ones. Diane was a passionate person and navigated through life by following her heart. She loved the NSTA, the Dystonia Advocacy Network, the Dystonia Coalition and what all the organizations do for people with dystonia.

Diane believed in the mission of the NSTA and the importance of providing information and support to people who have ST/CD. She met so many people and made so many friends through this organization. Diane enjoyed the time she spent with everyone and hoped her efforts and the efforts of the NSTA made a difference in making people’s lives better.

As difficult as it is to say goodbye to Diane, I want to leave you with this. As much as getting to the destination is an important part of a trip, the experiences, and people you meet during the journey is equally important. Diane wanted me to express to all of you she thanks God for allowing your path to cross hers. I know that I am truly thankful that we crossed paths in this lifetime.
