I Think I am

Relaxed: Now What?

Presented by

Antho y Whitney, ms, lmhc, bcia

St. Lukes Rehabilitation Institute

711 S. Cowley, Spokane

Room LL1 (next to the Lowel Level Cafeteria)

With Dystonia our perceptions can become skewed by the

erroneous sensory input we receive from overly contracted

muscles and tightened joints. So our concept of being

relaxed may not allow us to achieve a full state of deep

relaxation. Anthony will help us understand the importance

of breathing, relaxation and meditation, and the impact they

have on our brains and bodies. He will give us a guide for

starting to practice and develop more profound relaxation

skills.

Following the lecture will be a group discussion about this topic, plus other issues relating to dystonia.

Cost is FREE. Family and friends are welcome.

Where: St. Lukes Rehabilitation Inst.

Room 200 (next to reception desk at main entrance)
